In the last 3 years the CB has declined, due to fact of Mobile Phones and the Super Highway the Internat.  We are here to let you know what CB's are about.

For those who don't know what CB's are here is the run down.

  • CB's is a communication aid just like the one's you see in the Catalogue or Walkie talkies what some people call them.

  • CB's come in different types Hand Held, Home Base or mobile

  • Hand Held's are small 40 to 80 channel CB's, with these you can walk and talk to other people on CB's or Breakers as they are known by. This is probably the cheapest way to get started.

  • Home Base is a CB that you keep in the home, you have an Ariel out side for an example an Ariel called a Silver Rod also with this Ariel you will need CB Coax Cable this is intern connected to the Ariel and the CB Home Base or CB Transceiver's also with this you will need a power pack to power the CB.

  • Mobile is in the same context as the Home Base but with a Mobile Ariel which are called Magmount's the Magmount is the magnetic Base that sits on the top of your car with the Ariel attached to it the Coax is already connected to the Magmount the Coax then run's into the car and into the CB. You can mount the CB on to the Dashboard of your car or where you want it as long as you can see the display on the CB. You can connect the CB to the Cigarette lighter or straight to the Battery of the car to give it power.
